A medici.tv gift card allows you to give a medici.tv subscription to a loved one. It works like a voucher and unlocks a subscription to medici.tv when activated. If they do not wish to, they will not lose access to medici.tv and their account will continue to function, and they will not lose the videos they have marked as Favorites. However, they will only be able to watch free content. Once they purchase a subscription, they will be able to watch all videos again and they will then be on a renewable subscription. The new subscription cannot be purchased in advance, only at the expiration of the gift card.
The recipient does not need to provide billing information to use the gift card; they only need to have a medici.tv account. They will be prompted to either sign up or log in to an existing account when activating the code. So, don't worry if you're not sure whether the person you want to give the gift card to already has a medici.tv account. If they have used medici.tv in the past, they can certainly use the code on their existing account.
But what happens if your recipient already has a medici.tv account and has already purchased a subscription on their own? No worries! There is no deadline or expiration date for activating a gift card. Your recipient is free to activate it whenever they wish. Just keep in mind that once a gift card has been activated, the associated subscription cannot be interrupted. So if your recipient already has an active subscription, they can cancel the subscription before it is renewed or wait for it to expire, and then use the gift card. After that, they will need to buy a new subscription after one year.
