Not for the moment. However, if you want to listen to medici.tv on the go, there is a solution for mobile devices for portable use. The idea is to use the Picture-in-Picture mode on the iOS or Android app.
The Picture-in-Picture mode consists of streaming a video in a reduced version of the video player in a smaller window. This space-saving feature allows you to continue watching medici.tv while the rest of the screen remains available to navigate through the menus of your smartphone or tablet and other applications to perform other tasks.
A useful aspect of Picture-in-Picture mode is that it supports screen locking. This means you can, for example, play a medici.tv video using Picture-in-Picture mode outside of the medici.tv app, and then lock your device as you would with an audio app to avoid accidentally clicking on something, and the audio will continue to play. You can then have your phone in your pocket while listening to medici.tv and simply enjoy the audio.
Please note that this will only work if you lock your device while you are outside of the medici.tv app. If you lock your device while the medici.tv app is occupying the entire screen of your device (and is not just running in the background), the video and audio will stop.
Here’s how to do it:
- On the app, start a movie, then tap the > icon and exit the app.
- On iOS, swipe up from the bottom to display the active apps, then click outside to access the iPhone menu, and you will see the reduced player superimposed on your iPhone's home screen. Make sure not to touch or swipe the screen of the medici.tv app, as this would close it.
On Android, if you have enabled navigation buttons, tap the overview button (the square one). This will display all active apps simultaneously on your phone. Tap next to them to reach your device's home screen. You will see the mini player superimposed on your Android smartphone's home screen.
